Pure Onyx
Pure Onyx is a classic side-scrolling beat ’em up infused with RPG mechanics, set in the same dark sci-fi universe as the flagship title Malise and the Machine. Players step into the role of Onyx, a hardened heroine fighting to survive in the dystopian мегacity of New Babylon—a decaying urban sprawl ruled by violence, corruption, and unchecked corporate power. As Onyx pushes through the city’s dangerous districts, she’ll face ruthless street gangs, organized crime syndicates, a morally bankrupt police force, and the grotesque bio-engineered abominations created by the shadowy Babel Corporation. Gameplay blends fast-paced brawling with character progression, allowing players to upgrade abilities, improve combat effectiveness, and take on increasingly dangerous encounters as the story unfolds. Combat is brutal and stylish, emphasizing crowd control, impactful animations, and a steady escalation of enemy threats. Visually, the game features fully animated 3D artwork inspired by 1980s cyberpunk anime, delivering neon-soaked environments, gritty urban backdrops, and expressive character designs that reinforce its retro-futuristic tone. In addition to its action-focused gameplay and narrative-driven worldbuilding, Pure Onyx includes optional in-game, fully animated adult content that is integrated into the experience. This mature material complements the game’s darker themes and cyberpunk aesthetic, making it a bold entry that blends classic arcade-style action with modern presentation and adult storytelling elements.
